Flo Do Real

Data visualization is often translated in smooth numbers and digital and graphs. This project aims to break down the instrumentation in the song Flor Do Real by Sessa (one of my favorite contemporary artists) using ordinary objects found around the house. A knitting tomato moves to the drums, plucking yarn shows guitar string changes, and buttons dance to melodic changes. The abstract, surrealist approach utilizes a blend of stop motion and digital techniques. This work is an unfinished experiment documented for further exploration.
